Shutting down in emergencies

Shut off the system power by:

Pulling out the plug

Switching off the fuse

Safety considerations
The pipe freezing equipment should never be operated in wet or damp conditions.

Do not allow the main unit to get wet.

Do not expose the main unit to dripping or splashing.

Do not place liquid filled objects, such as cups, on top of the main unit.

Do not place naked flame sources, such as candles, on top of the main unit

Ventilation

The pipe freezing equipment should never be operated with the lid closed.

The slots and openings on the main unit are for ventilation. Do not block them as it may

cause overheating.

NEVER push anything into the holes or slots in the case!

Cleaning

Unplug the main unit before cleaning

Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners

Clean the unit with a soft, damp (not wet) cloth.

Servicing

There are no user serviceable parts within the pipe freezing equipment.

When servicing, refer to qualified service personnel

Consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the operation or safety of the pipe

freezing equipment
Please comply fully with the following safety information in order to avoid the danger of
Property damage and damage to the environment!

If the ROFROST ECO fails to operate:

Check whether the current supply has been interrupted. If current is reaching the main unit

and it fails to operate , please contact ROTHENBERGER.

General information

In the event of coolant dripping from any part of the pipe freezing equipment, turn off the

unit immediately and contact a qualified service engineer.

In the event of the freezer jaws becoming unduly warm (above 40°C) turn off the unit

immediately and contact qualified service engineer.

Only carry out freezing in compliance with the intended use described in the operating

manual.

Do not obstruct the air circulation, i.e. do not close the lid or block the circulation slots
during operation. This will result in failure of the freezing process and will cause the unit to

overheat.

Protect the coolant hoses and freezer jaws against damage.

Protect unit against sudden impact, strong vibrations and do not drop

Ensure the operating location is dry and free from dust.
