Addendum to the

Please read this document before you begin to install the
AT-RPS3104 Redundant Power Supply System or AT-PWR3101 Power Module.
This addendum contains corrections to the following document:

Page 14 - AT-PWR3101 Module LED
The following table replaces Table 1, AT-PWR3101 Status LED, on page 14.
Pages 15 and 16 - Reviewing Safety Precautions
The section Reviewing Safety Precautions on pages 15 and 16 of the guide should include the
following additional Cautions:
Caution
This device should be installed by Authorized Service Personnel only.
Caution
This device should be installed in a Restricted Access Location.
Caution
To avoid high levels of leakage current on an AC power circuit, Allied Telesyn recommends
connecting each AC power cord on the AT-RPS3104 unit to an AC power source that is on
a different branch circuit.

State
Description
OFF
The AT-PWR3101 module is powered off or is in the idle state. The
idle state is the condition of the module when it is powered on but is
not connected to an AT-8524POE switch. The LED and fan on a
module in the idle state remain off until the unit is connected to a
switch.
Green
The AT-PWR3101 module is operating normally. For the LED to be
Green, the module must be powered on and it must be connected to
an AT-8524POE switch.
Amber
The AT-PWR3101 module is experiencing a problem or has failed.
