An Alert Inbox status screen indicating the number of
new alert messages in your WAP mailbox appears in the
display.
2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired WAP
alert.
3. Press the key to view the selected WAP alert.
Messages and Lock Mode
Your phone can still receive messages while in Lock
Mode. The time and date of the message appear in the
display, but you cannot access the message until you
enter the lock code. (See “Lock Phone” on page 172 for
more information.)
Message Settings
The Msg Settings folder lets you define numerous
message settings such as ringer types and save options.
1. In standby mode, press the MESSAGE (right) soft key
( ), then press (for Msg Setting). The following
Msg Setting options appear in the display:

Send Setting — Options to SaveInOutbox, Insert Sign.,
Delivery Ack, Direct View, Signature, and a Callback #.
ⅷ Entry Mode — Lets you specify T9 word, Alphabet, or
Number as the default message text entry mode.

Quick Text — Add or change pre-composed message text
for insertion into messages.
ⅷ Msg Alert — Set Reminder and Alert On Call.
ⅷ Auto Erase — Automatically erase first message received
after memory is full.
