CoPilot Central
CoPilot Central desktop companion software allows you to plan trips, create
maps, download updates for your mobile device and purchase map upgrades.
Please refer to
•
Open CoPilot Central using the desktop shortcut or from your PC
programs menu.
•
You can decide whether to install the latest CoPilot Central updates. We
highly recommend that you install any updates to ensure you get the best
out of CoPilot Central.
Create a map
There are four ways to select map areas:

Entire Region - This lets you easily download an entire map region e.g. US East,
US West.

Click
Entire Region
to download the region. Click Send to Device to
download the maps to your mobile device.

Select Country. This lets you easily download entire countries.

Click
Select Country and pick the countries you wish to download.

Click
Next.

Click
Send to Device.

Area Selection. You can draw a box around an area of the map and save
it as a custom map area to download.

Click
Area Selection.
•
Move around and zoom in/zoom out on the map to fi nd the area you
wish to download.
•
Use the mouse to draw a box around the area you wish to download.
•
Enter a name for the area in the Region Name box that appears
and select OK.
•
You can then choose to Send to Device immediately or select Not Yet
to download later.
