Alert Type
(Menu 7.3)
This menu allows you to specify how you are to be informed
of incoming calls or alarms you set.
The following options are available:
Light Only: the service light flashes; the phone neither rings
nor vibrates.
Melody: the phone rings using the selected ring tone or
alarm melody.
Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not ring.
Vibra+Melody: the phone first vibrates three times and
then starts ringing.
Keypad Tone
This menu allows you to select the tone that the phone
sounds when you press a key.
To turn the sound off, select Off.
Message Tone
This menu allows you to select how the phone informs you
that a new message has been received.
SMS Tone
The following options are available for alerting you to new
SMS messages:
Off: the phone does not use an SMS tone.
Light Only: the service light flashes.
Vibration: the phone vibrates.
