Q1 I cannot find the computer's Shut down button.
A • Touch screen:
- Tap Charms > Settings > Power > Shut down.
- Tap and hold the Start button to select Shut down or sign
out > Shut down.
• Mouse:
- Click Charms > Settings > Power > Shut down.
- Right-click the Start button, and then click Shut down or
sign out > Shut down.
Q2 The App disappeared in the Start screen.
A • Touch screen:
1. Swipe upward on the Start screen.
2. A tile of all apps installed is displayed.
3. Tap and hold an app to add, and then tap Pin to Start.
• Mouse:
1. Click the bottom-left icon on the Start screen to
display a tile of all apps installed on the computer.
2. Right-click over the corresponding App to select in a Pin
to Start.
Q3 Since I'm familiar with Windows 7, I would like the
Desktop screen to appear as it does in Windows 7.
A To display the desktop at the start as in Windows 7, do the
following.
Right-click the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop, click
Properties > Navigation tab, and then check the When I
sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop
instead of Start.
Q4 How can I uninstall the driver?
A On the Desktop, click Charms > Settings > Control Panel >
Uninstall a program.
Alternatively, right-click the Start button, and click
Programs and Features.
Click the program. Then click uninstall.
