Cleanup - Oil-based Materials
Cleaning the Remote Suction Set:
1. Make sure the sprayer is unplugged.
2. Remove the suction tube from the material container
and submerge into a container of the solvent appropriate
to the type of material you sprayed (warm, soapy water
for latex-based materials; mineral spirits for oil-based
materials.
3. Plug in the sprayer, and squeeze the trigger and spray
into a second container until the solvent coming through
the sprayer is free of material. Unplug the sprayer.
4. Remove the suction tube from the cleaning solution.
Unlock the pump housing locking collar (a) by turning it
counterclockwise.
5. Remove the suction tube and dual hose fitting from the
suction hoses.
6. Move on to Cleaning the Components, page 14.
Make sure you clean the sprayer in a well-ventilated area whenever cleaning with flammable solvents.
