3.6 SPRAYER SYSTEM FIELD OPERATION
. ADJUST SPRAY HEIGHT
Adjust spray height to final setting BASED ON MINIMUM OVERLAP OF SPRAY PATTERNS by adjust-
ing boom height.
1. Adjust the spray height to your spray tip using the table as a guideline. For sprayers with manual height
adjustment, use the following procedure:
1. Loosen set screws if equipped.
2. Lower jacks until locating pins are loose in vertical slide.
3. Remove clips and pins.
4. Adjust booms to desired spray height.
5. Replace pins and retaining clips.
6. Tighten set screws and remove jacks.

NOTE
ALL WET BOOM SPRAYERS AND TRUCK SPRAYERS HAVE ANOTHER PROVISION FOR
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT. THE BOLTS SUPPORTING THE SWING ARMS CAN BE LOCATED
TO DIFFERENT HOLES ON VERTICAL SLIDE.

AFTER ADJUSTING
