Auto power down
Choose a period of time after which Highway will switch off if no buttons are pressed: Disabled, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours (default) or 8 hours.
Fade on burble
Choose to fade down the audio if the DAB station starts ‘burbling’, which occurs when the DAB signal becomes too weak to receive
correctly. ‘Burbling’ is distinct from the hissing or crackling which you will hear if a free FM frequency is interrupted. Choose between:
Enable
Audio will fade out when DAB reception reaches the point where it is too weak to de-code correctly (default).
Disable
Audio will not fade out in the event of signal loss.
Backlight
Switch the backlight behaviour between ‘On’ (default), ‘Timed off’ and ‘Off’. If you select ‘Timed off’ the backlight will switch on for a
short period after a button has been pressed.
Upgrade
Software upgrades may be issued for Highway in the future to provide enhanced in-car functions or improve performance. If you
register your product and include an e-mail address you will receive e-mail notification of any new upgrades for your product that
are added to the support website at www.pure.com/support. If an upgrade has been issued you can upgrade Highway using a PC
connected to the
[5V DC]
/ USB port. To upgrade, select ‘Upgrade’ and follow the instructions provided with the upgrade software.
To avoid distraction do not use the Scrolling text information display when driving.
