Step 1

Carefully place the rear of vehicle on jack stands located at the frame – not the rear axle.

! CAUTION !

Use extreme caution when working under vehicle

Step 2

Using a hydraulic floor jack, raise the rear axle housing under the center section until the axle reaches
approximate ride height. Place jack stands under the axle for safety.

Step 3

Working on one side at a time, remove upper control arm by removing two bolts securing it to the chassis
and rearend housing. Apply a liberal coating of general purpose grease on the new control arm bushings. With
grease Zerk facing the ground reinstall and tighten control arm completely, using a drop of Loc-Tite™ on each
mounting bolt.

Step 4

Follow the same procedure for the other side.

Step 5

You may now lube both grease fittings and reinstall dust caps.

Step 6

Drive the car for approximately 5-10 miles, recheck all nuts and bolts for proper torque specs.
