X-PIPES FOR FULL LENGTHS
PART# 1636/5,1637/5,16995,16985
TOOLS REQUIRED-13, 15mm sockets, ratchet, ¾” wrench, 22mm wrench.
STEP 1 Disconnect negative battery cable.
STEP 2 With BBK Full Length headers (part #’s 1641/0/5 or 16495 ) installed, lift X-pipe in place.
STEP 3 Line up rear of X-pipe with stock barrel style clamps and slip clamps over reduced end of X-pipe.
STEP 4 Position X-pipe collector flanges up to headers, connect headers and X-pipe with studs supplied
in the header kit.
STEP 5 Adjust position of exhaust system for fitment and clearance. Tighten clamps and collector nuts.
STEP 6 Remove rear O2 sensors from the stock midpipes.
STEP 7 Install rear O2 sensors in the BBK X-pipe.
STEP 8 Connect supplied O2 sensor extension wires to plugs at wire harness at the side of the trans.
Connect the sensors.
STEP 9 Start engine and check for any exhaust leaks.
