7. Search & Voice Command
The Search Bar at the top of most of the application screens lets you conveniently key in an address or business. For
example, you can type in “coffee” or a specific address to drive to.
Use the voice command feature by choosing the
Microphone icon at the left of the Search Bar. Say a command, such
as the examples given on the screen, to start your search or navigation directions.
When you see this screen, speak clearly into your device’s microphone. Choose
Cancel to exit Voice Command mode.
If you speak the command, “Drive To” and specify a destination, your route will
start after five seconds. You can verify the route on the Route Planning screen
(see page
25
for more information).
