Preparation / Assembly
• Suitable for: Blending juices and shakes.
• Accessories needed: Blade assembly (11) .
• Preparation: Fill food into the measuring cup (8) to measure
the volume of food. Place food into a suitable container
(ill. b ) or process food directly in the measuring cup.
For best results, cut solid food into approximately 0.5 inch
to 1 inch cubes.
• Assembly: Connect the blade assembly (11) with the power
base (4) . Turn the blade assembly until it clicks into place.
Connect the power plug (3) to a suitable wall outlet.
• Lower the blade assembly (11) into the food container. Make sure that the blade is
fully submerged in the ingredients before starting the appliance. The power base
(4) must neVer be submerged in the ingredients (ill. d ).
Hold power base (4) firmly with one hand and base of mixing container with the
other hand. Select the desired speed control button (5, 6) :

• Use a gentle up-and-down motion to blend food smoothly.
• To avoid spattering food, do not lift the appliance out of the ingredients during
operation.
• note: The rotating blade is partially shielded by a metal dome. Use care to avoid
scratching containers and cookware surfaces with the shield.
• To turn off the blender, release the depressed button (5 or 6) . Let the blade (11)
come to a complete stop. Only then place the power base (4) on your kitchen table.
Disconnect the plug (3) from the wall outlet.
