danger:
• Unplug immediately after use, before removing or changing
attachments.
• keep hands and utensils away from the cutting blade while chopping
food to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the food
chopper. A scrapper may be used but only when the food chopper is not
running.
OPERATION
• remove the power base (4) from the attached accessory (1, 10 or 11) .
• Processed food can be stored in the measuring cup (8) , if desired. To ensure that
the food stays fresh, put the lid (7) on the measuring cup (ill. l ) . Store in the
refrigerator.
• WArnInG! When blender is not in use, always unplug unit and store in a safe place
not accessible to children.
Hints for working with the immersion blender
• To avoid spilling over food, start with low speed (lo (6) ), then switch over to high
speed (hi (5) ).
• operate the blender for only as long as needed to reach the right consistency. Do
not operate the unit continuously for more that 30 seconds at a time. Let unit cool
for at least 2 minutes before next use.
• The measuring cup lid (7) can be used on both ends of the measuring cup (8) , either
as a lid to keep food fresh or as a non-skid base. The latter will be very useful if food
is processed directly in the measuring cup.
• Do not process food inside a pot with non-stick coating, as whisk (9) /blade assembly
(11) might damage the coating.
