Downloading music
To download your music, follow these steps:
1.
Insert the SD Card, MultiMediaCard, or USB device that contains your music.
– or –
Download your music from the Web.
2.
Save the music in the Music folder in the file manager.
Playing music
After you download your music, you can begin playing songs, albums, and playlists.
You can play music directly from the Home Screen or you can open HP MediaStyle and begin playing music.
NOTE:
To play music from the Home Screen, you need to set up your music favorite links. Refer to
Customizing your music favorite links on page 48
for more information.
NOTE:
To exit HP MediaStyle, click the Home icon in the top-right of the screen.
To play an album or playlist from the Home Screen:

Double-click a music favorite link on the Home Screen.
The music begins playing.
NOTE:
Use the mini player to control the music that is currently playing.
To play music in HP MediaStyle:
1.
Click Start New Program > Media > HP MediaStyle.
HP MediaStyle opens.
2.
Click the Music icon.
3.
Browse for the music that you want to play, and then click Play.
Using the mini player
Use the mini player to control the music that is currently playing from the Home Screen. When you play
a favorite album from the Home Screen, the mini player control appears in the Music section of the
Home Screen.
