9.1 Introduction

The quickest way to add artistic text is to use the

button on the toolbar.

Select text for further editing by using the

button. You can select artistic text

using the handles, which you can use to easily make immediate modifications to the
text.

Double click or right click to access further design options, for example bending the
text, changing font attributes and selecting the foreground and background color.

The 'Bent' function is only available for artistic text. A text block in a text box cannot
be bent.
