Properties
Click this option to display the product’s Properties dialog box, which lists the
product name, location, contact person, description, product type, network
address, and operational status for the product. The product name, location,
contact person, and description are configured through the Product Manager.
Refer to the Product Manager user guide for your switch or director for
instructions. The network address is configured in the New Product dialog box in
the HAFM.
You can display product properties through the Products View. To display
information about a managed product:
1. Right-click a product’s icon in the Products View and choose Properties.
The product’s Properties dialog box displays ( Figure 45 ).

The switch or director Properties dialog box displays information about a product
managed by the HAFM including the following:
■ Name of the product as configured through the Configure Identification
dialog box in the Product Manager application.
■ Location of the product as configured through the Configure Identification
dialog box in the Product Manager application.
■ Contact person for the product as configured through the Configure
Identification dialog box in the Product Manager application.
■ Description of the product as configured through the Configure
Identification dialog box in the Product Manager application.
