Upgrading Firmware
1. Choose the Maintenance tab from the Operations page, and then choose the
Firmware Upgrade tab to upload and upgrade firmware. The Firmware
Upgrade tab view displays (
).

The firmware version shipped with the product is provided on the
documentation CD-ROM. Information about subsequent firmware versions is
provided at HP’s web site.
Detailed instructions on how to locate and download firmware are provided in
the product’s installation and service manuals.
Note:
When adding a firmware version, follow all procedural information contained
in the release notes that accompany the firmware version. That information
supplements and supersedes information provided in this manual.
Note:
Refer to the software release notes on whether the firmware upgrade can be
done without causing a disruption as some upgrades may cause a temporary
disruption to product function.
