Beats Audio is an enhanced audio feature that
provides a deep, controlled bass while maintaining a
clear sound. Beats Audio is enabled by default.

Opens Beats Audio Control Panel, which allows you
to view and control all audio settings.

NOTE:

To open Beats Audio Control Panel, from

the Start screen, type c, select Control Panel,
select Hardware and Sound, and then select Beats
Audio Control Panel
.

Audio-out (headphone) jack/Audio-in
(microphone) jack

Connects optional powered stereo speakers,
headphones, earbuds, a headset, or a television
audio cable. Also connects an optional computer
headset microphone, stereo array microphone, or
monaural microphone. The jack does not support
optional microphone-only devices.

WARNING!

To reduce the risk of personal injury,

adjust the volume before using headphones,
earbuds, or a headset. For additional safety
information, refer to the Regulatory, Safety, and
Environmental Notices
.

NOTE:

When a device is connected to the jack, the

computer speakers are disabled.

NOTE:

Be sure that the device cable has a 4-

conductor connector that supports both audio-out
(headphone) and audio-in (microphone).

USB 3.0 ports

Connect optional USB 3.0 devices and provide
enhanced USB power performance.

CAUTION:

While there are multiple USB ports on

the same side, only one USB port will be able to
support a high power device at a time.
