REASON
Using rmora_set to set the retention time and/or expiration time for the specified Virtual Copy
failed.
SOLUTION
Check the screen output and log files for more information. Check the system by issuing showsys
-param
and the maximum domain limit by issuing showdomain -d for the maximum allowed
retention time. Retention times and expiration times are available from HP 3PAR OS version 2.3.1
or later. Expiration time should be larger than retention time.

3PAR1166: ERROR: Could not remove the repository for database .
REASON
Trying to execute rmora_rmrep to remove the backup repository for a database configuration
failed as one or more Virtual Copy repositories still exist.
SOLUTION
Run rmora_remove to remove the all of the Virtual Copies before running rmora_rmrep. Make
sure the Virtual Copies are no longer being used.

3PAR1167: ERROR: Oracle ASM owner's uid/gid does not match between the primary and the
backup server.
REASON
This error occurs while creating or checking a configuration file. The uid and gid of the ASM binary
owner must be identical on both the database server and the backup system.
SOLUTION
Check the uid and gid from both the database server and the backup system. Correct them if not
identical.
