Turn the computer right-side up, and then reconnect AC power and external devices to the
computer.

Identifying the installed optical drive

Select Computer > More Applications, and then select Audio & Video in the left pane.
A list of multimedia applications and tools is displayed.
NOTE:
You can access an inserted optical disc through Nautilus or a desktop icon. The GNOME
desktop displays a dialog box that either opens the default application for the inserted media type or
allows another application to be selected. If you click the OK button without selecting an item from the
displayed list, a default application opens. If the default application is not the desired one, then you
must select another application from the list in the dialog box. After you select the appropriate
application from the list, click the OK button.
NOTE:
Encrypted Blu-Ray and DVD discs are not supported without software from third party
sources.
Inserting an optical disc
Tray-load
1.
Turn on the computer.
2.
Press the eject button (1) on the drive bezel to release the disc tray.
3.
Pull out the tray (2).
4.
Hold the disc by the edges to avoid touching the flat surfaces and position the disc label-side up
over the tray spindle.
NOTE:
If the tray is not fully accessible, tilt the disc carefully to position it over the spindle.
