VCR SETUP
Composite (RCA) Connection
Connect the AAU UD DIIO O/VVIID DEEO O jacks between TV and
VCR. Match the jack colors (Video = yellow, Audio Left
= white, and Audio Right = red)

■ Insert a video tape into the VCR and press PLAY on the
VCR. (Refer to the VCR owner’s manual.)
■ Select the AAVV1 1 input source on the TV using the IIN NPPU UTT
button on the remote control.
■ If connected to AAVV IIN N2 2, select AAVV22 input source on the TV.

2. How to use
■ Insert a video tape into the VCR and press PLAY on the

■ Select the AAVV1 1 input source on the TV using the IIN NPPU UTT
button on the remote control.
G G If you have a mono VCR, connect the audio cable
from the VCR to the AAU

S-Video Connection
Connect the S-VIDEO output of the VCR to the
SS --VVIID
DEEO O input on the TV.
Connect the audio outputs of the VCR to the AAU UD DIIO O

and S-Video at the same time. In
the event that you connect both
Video and the S-Video cables,
only the S-Video will work.
CAUTION
G G S-Video provides better quality than composite. Use
it when available.
