.on.the.brake.hose

Drive.new.support.sleeve.

The.support.sleeve.cannot.be.driven.into.the.MAGURA.brake.hose.that.
is.used.as.standard.with.the.MT2.disc.brake..Note.the.identification.of.
your.brake.hose!

Insert.the.brake.hose.into.the.brake.lever.to.the.stop..
Hold.the.brake.hose.to.the.stop.until.you.finish.tightening.the.sleeve.
nut.

First.screw.the.sleeve.nut.handtight.in.the.brake.lever,.then.tighten.with.
a.tightening.torque.of.
4 N·m (35 lbf·in)

A.maximum.of.one.thread.of.the.sleeve.nut.should.be.visible.

Pull.the.brake.hose.to.ensure.that.it.is.tight.

Remove.any.oil.residues.thoroughly.

Install.wheel.with.mounted.disc.brake.rotor.or.insert.transport.

Pull.and.hold.the.brake.lever.several.times.and.check.
that.no.oil.is.leaking.from.any.part.of.the.brake.system..
.Pressure.point.is.clearly.noticeable.and.does.not.change.

In.general.it.is.not.necessary.to.bleed.the.brake.hose.after.shortening.
it..However,.if.air.enters.the.brake.system.and.there.is.no.stable.pres-
sure.point,.you.must.bleed.your.brake.– see.

Push.hose.cover.
.on.the.sleeve.nut.

Loosen.the.bottom.clamping.screw.

Rotate.brake.lever.to.final.position.

Tighten.the.bottom.clamping.screw
with.a.tightening.torque.of.
