The data presented in this manual for calibration numbers has been obtained by Seed Hawk Inc. from factory
testing as well as field testing and from customers. These values are based on averages obtained and do not
necessarily account for temperature, density, moisture content, seed size, shape or treatment. Using a prede-
termined calibration value does not guarantee accurate application rates, but the values can be used to avoid
static calibration procedures but note that further verification of application rates is a MUST.
Follow the Rate
Check Procedure outlined on pg. 34 of this booklet.
The calibration numbers provided are a starting point only, application rate verification is needed and highly
recommended. Modification to the calibration number is needed to achieve desired accuracy. Once accurate
application rates are achieved, it is highly recommended that these values are recorded in the pages provided
for future reference.
