Inserting Batteries
The digital camera uses a 2CR5 lithium battery and an NP-500H
rechargeable lithium ion battery. The 6-volt 2CR5 lithium battery
powers all camera operations. The NP-500H rechargeable lithium ion
battery supplies power for recording and copying digital images.
• Please read all warnings in the Safety Cautions section of this
manual, as well as those supplied by the battery manufacturer.
1. Push the cover release in the direction of the arrow to open the
battery chamber cover.
2. Insert the 2CR5 6 volt battery into the chamber as indicated by
the + and - marks inside the battery cover. Close the cover
until it clicks and locks closed.
3. While pressing the battery case release button, slide the battery
case out.
4. Insert the NP-500H lithium ion battery into the battery case as
shown.
5. Slide the battery case back into the camera until it clicks.
