Assembly of Winches to Quick Mount™ Platform #251043
PRO 8000 & PRO 9000 WINCHES:
Remove existing solenoid assembly and power leads from winch. Attach new solenoid assembly to winch cover
using 1/4” mounting screws and washers furnished with kits #251045 & 251046, as shown below. Attach appro-
priately marked motor leads from kit solenoid assembly to corresponding motor terminals, tighten fasteners securely.
Connect colored switch wires from winch receptacle to like colored wires in solenoid assembly. Proceed to final
assembly.
PRO PLUS 8000 & PRO PLUS 9000 SERIES WINCHES:
Complete installation of kit #251044, into winch solenoid assembly. Proceed to final assembly.
REP 8000 & REP 9000 WINCHES:
Remove existing solenoid assembly and power leads from winch. Attach appropriately marked motor leads from
new solenoid assembly to corresponding motor terminals, tighten fasteners securely.
Attach new solenoid mounting bracket to rear flange of platform using 3/8” mounting hardware furnished with kits
#251051/52 and #251060/61, tighten fasteners to 34 ft. lbs. of torque each. Proceed to final assembly.
PLATINUM 9000 QM READY WINCH:
This winch is ready to mount on your QM platform. Proceed to final assembly.
FINAL ASSEMBLY:
Attach handles to ends of platform using mounting hardware as shown below. Tighten to 12 ft. lbs.
Attach fairlead and winch to QM platform using existing mounting hardware. Attach black quick connect lead to rear
most winch mounting bolt on motor end of winch. Tighten fairlead and winch fasteners to 34 ft. lbs.
