- For installation onto metal and into field: Use (16) screws (8 per side), 6 in center column of
Fastener Installation Holes, in 1 hole left of center, and in 1 hole right of center. Guardian
recommends using HILTI Kwik-Pro Self-Drilling Screws. Fasteners must be selected and deemed
compatible by a Competent Person.
6. Attach complete and compatible PFAS to Temper Anchor Connection Point. Connector MUST be
a self-closing and self-locking carabiner or snap hook. Ensure all possibility of roll-out is
eliminated.
Not for permanent installation applications. Not for use with horizontal lifeline systems.
May be used in multiple installation applications.
Always use new fasteners for each new installation.
! WARNING
Removal of anchor from present installation location may cause
warping or damage. NEVER reinstall anchor if it is damaged in any
way, or will not lie flush against applicable substrate.
NEVER over-torque screws.
Excessive torque will cause damage to screws and result in unsafe installation.
8 Per Side:
6 in center,

5. A Competent Person must ensure all fasteners are installed correctly. Rubber sheathing on
fasteners must be compressed against Temper Anchor. DO NOT over-tighten fasteners. Fasteners
are over-tightened if sheathing breaks or is squeezed out from underneath fastener.
