Warning! Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions included with the
equipment at time of shipment from
the manufacturer before using.
x Must be used w/ a shock absorber that will
limit arrest forces to 900lbs. or less.
x This anchor point is designed for use as a
part of a planned personal fall arrest or fall
restraint system. Make only safe,
compatible connections.
x Material: Galv. Steel
x Maximum user weight (including tools):
310lbs. One worker per anchor.
Warning: REMOVE FROM SERVICE if
subjected to a fall arrest or if unit fails
inspection. Visually inspect before each use

Refer to instructions before use.
Installing the Truss Boss Anchor:
Attach anchor, connection side up, over
the “2x” wooden truss member & locate a
min. of 2ft. from any edge. Use the eight
(8) provided nails to fill each nail hole.
Apply sheathing over base of the Truss
Boss. Apply flashing, using remaining
nails provided. Attach cap when not in
use.
Anchorage structures shall be capable of
withstanding 5,000lbs or meeting the
requirements of OSHA1926.502 for a 2:1
safety factor.
Connecting systems should be protected
from sharp or abrasive surfaces. Do not
make incompatible connections, such as
tying rope directly to attachment point.
Connect with carabiner or snaphook.
Warning: Avoid physical hazards such
as thermal, electrical, or chemical
elements that could impact the
integrity of the equipment.
