Specific Precautions for Halogen Units
500-watt Halogen Wobblelight
®
CAUTION!
The following instructions must be followed in order to avoid the risk of personal injury, property damage and poor lamp performance.
The halogen lamp contains an inner capsule that operates at high internal pressure and at high surface temperature and may unexpectedly shatter. The
outer glass bulb is not designed to contain hot flying particles in the unlikely event of a capsule rupture. Therefore, only operate lamp in the enclosed
Wobblelight
®
fixture with dome and cap installed and free of damage.
To avoid the possibility of fire, do not operate the halogen lamp close to materials that are combustible or affected by heat or drying.
To avoid risk of serious eye injury from the intense light, do not stare at the operating lamp.
To avoid electric shock, turn off power and let lamp cool completely before attempting replacement.
To avoid skin burns, allow lamp to cool completely before handling.
For safe and proper halogen lamp operation, operate lamp at rated voltage and wattage. Operation above rated voltage increases internal pressure and,
thus increasing the risk of rupture.
