Possible Concerns

NONE

Voltage spikes or high voltage
regulation can cause the capac-
itative elements to fail. Surge
protection, transient protection, and
additional loading is recom-
mended for 100% fail-safe opera-
tion. DO NOT RUN
THESE DEVICES WITHOUT
ADDITIONAL RESISTIVE TYPE
LOADS.

These devices require large
current inrush for starting. (See
Table B.3, GENERATOR POWER
APPLICATIONS, in the OPERA-
TION section of this manual for
required starting wattages.)
50Hz synchronous motor must be
confirmed with their manufacturer
for operation on 60Hz.

An inductive type line condition-
er along with transient and
surge protection is required,
and liabilities still exist.
DO NOT USE THESE DEVICES
WITH A OUTBACK™ 185 (AU).
