SPECIFICATIONS
Description:
The LS series of source holders are approved for General License
installations on level applications when used with an interlock
device. The source is available in both single (LS-S) and dual
(LS-D) port configurations for installations where vessels are close
to each other and one source can be used on both. i.e. Flyash
Hoppers
Source Holder:
Construction: Stainless Steel Housing With Lead, or Tungsten
S hielding Surrounding A Doubly Encapsulated,
Heliarc-Welded Stainless Steel Source Capsule.
Single or Dual Port Configurations.
Handle: “T” Handle Rotates 90 Degrees From On/Off Positions.
Shutter Options Include: Remote Cable, Remote On/Off
Indicators, Intelocking Device, Air Actuation.
Weight: Appx. 55 lbs (25g)
Temperature Limit: 300 Degrees F. (148 Degrees C)
Collimation: Beam Pattern(s) up to 20 Degrees. (Dependant Upon
Application)
Maximum Source Size: 150 mCi (5.6 GBq) Cs-137
Radiation Fields: Meets all International Standards for Surface Radiation Limits.
