12.1 Expansion Board Connections
* The input terminals are used with “dry” contacts from third party metering devices.
They can be used with mechanical or electronic contacts. If using electronic contacts,
be sure to maintain polarity as shown. Maximum pulse frequency is 10Hz. The output
terminals are rated for a maximum of 40 volts AC or DC. The maximum load is 400 ma.
** The relay terminals are rated for a maximum of 250 VAC and a load of 3 amps.
Relay #1 is set through the push buttons on the display board. Relay #2 is only
accessed through special software commands. See Section 12.3 for details on setting
relay #1.
