Connecting the Cat Sense:
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Cat Sense must always be VERTICALLY mounted, in a
suitable location on the catalyst manifold:
The stainless steel catalyst flow tube (0116CS) has female threaded connections at the
top and bottom of the cylinder. Both of these are threaded to take male 1/8”NPT high
pressure stainless steel fittings which enable the flow tube to be installed at a
convenient position on the catalyst manifold.
Use PTFE sealant tape to secure both the inlet and outlet connections to the catalyst
flow cylinder as described below:

The bottom 1/8”NPT flow tube female connection is the flow inlet and MUST be
connected to the catalyst pump / catalyst manifold outlet.
o
The top 1/8”NPT flow tube female connection is the outlet and MUST be connected
to the catalyst hose leading to the gun head.
WARNING Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and open the
catalyst pressure dump valve to relieve the fluid pressure.
Once the Cat Sense has been installed and securely mounted, run the pump to prime
catalyst through as normal to remove air from the catalyst system.
