Metering Pump Disassembly:
1. Remove Check Valve (CV-2000) from Inlet Body (51050-1) and then remove and
discard the O-Ring (O-S-013).
2. Loosen Lock Nut (50820-1) and unscrew the Outlet Body (50730-1) from the
Cylinder (50940-1).
3. Remove the Seal Retainer (50530-1) from the Piston Body (50440-1).
4. Remove and discard the Piston Seal (02014).
5. Remove the Piston Body (50440-1) from the Piston Rod (50360-1).
6. Remove and discard the 5/32” SS Ball (9201-1-7).
7. Remove and retain the Piston Rod Spring (04013-1).
8. Unscrew the Packing Nut (50630-1) and pull the Piston Rod (50360-1) out of the
Outlet Body (50730-1)
9. Insert a 1/4” diameter dowel into the bottom of the Outlet Body (50730-1), force
the Piston Rod Packings (02022-5) out through the top of the Outlet Body and
discard.
10. Unscrew the Cylinder (50940-1) from the Inlet Body (51050-1).
11. Remove and discard the two O-Rings (O-S-016). Inspect the Cylinder for
scratches, or other damage, and replace if necessary.
NOTE:
Care must be taken to not damage the inside of the Outlet Body.
NOTE:
Carefully pull the Piston Rod out of Cylinder to avoid damaging the
interior surface of cylinder. Inspect the Piston Rod for scratches or
other damage. Replace if necessary.
WARNING!!
Use wrench flats provided in order to avoid damaging the Piston rod.
