Removing catalyst pump from system:

1.

Place clean pail under the catalyst pump to collect any potential spills.

2.

Close the main air supply ball valve to system.

3.

On the catalyst manifold open the ball valve to release the catalyst fluid pressure.

4.

For systems that charge the catalyst accumulator on the catalyst manifold use a
5/64” Allen wrench to release catalyst accumulator charge (see resin and catalyst
accumulator charging procedures in the “Testing & Adjusting Manual”).

5.

Remove the catalyst jug from its bracket and set it in a position below the catalyst
pump. This may require pulling out the three ¼” poly tubing hoses from the top of
the catalyst jug depending on the unit configuration. Rock the jug back so the
outlet fitting will allow the catalyst to drain back into the jug from the feed hose.
Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic hose clamp on the catalyst pump
inlet fitting. Remove the catalyst feed tube from the inlet fitting.

6.

Remove the catalyst swivel hose fitting (outlet fitting) from the outlet body of the
catalyst pump.

7.

At the catalyst weep port at the top of the catalyst pump push in the tube spilt bushing
(4105-5-1) and pull out the ¼” poly tubing.

8.

Remove the catalyst pump from the drive by first removing the ¼” hex bolt on the
bottom of the pump and then un-screw the knob (PAT-SD-3105) from the top of
the drive linkage.

Wipe the catalyst pump clean and inspect for damage and wear.
