Troubleshooting
6.1 Error Codes
When a sensor is experiencing an error condition, the sensor reading on
the measurement screen will flash and all relays and analog outputs associated with this
sensor will be held. The following conditions will cause the sensor reading to flash:

Sensor calibration
•
Loss of communication
Highlight the Sensor Diag menu and confirm. Highlight Errors and confirm to determine
the cause of the error. Errors are defined in
Table 7
.
6.2 Warnings
A Sensor warning will leave all menus, relays, and outputs functioning normally, but will
cause a warning icon to flash on the right side of the display. Highlight the Sensor Diag
menu and confirm to determine the cause of the warning.
A warning may be used to trigger a relay and users can set warning levels to define the
severity of the warning. Errors are defined in
Table 8
.

Verify the solution concentration and ensure that
the sensor in use has the correct measurement
range.
TEMP OUT RANGE
No temperature element connected or
temperature reading is out of range.
Verify that the solution temperature is between –20
to 200 °C.
FLASH FAILURE
Cannot write flash memory.
Contact customer service.
CAL REQUIRED
Past the calibration days since last cal date.
Calibrate system.
REPLACE
SENSOR
Past the total days of current sensor in use. New
sensor may need to be installed.
Inspect sensor. If physically damaged or
malfunctioning, replace the sensor. Otherwise,
reset timer and allow sensor to remain in operation.
