Introduction
The C-Squared Analyzer is designed to measure Oxygen levels in the .1% to 100% range and
carbon dioxide in the range from 0ppm to 2000 ppm. (The range of the carbon dioxide can be
acquired from 1 to 2000ppm range to 100% level on request). It can be used to measure the
oxygen and carbon dioxide content for mixes used in Diving, Medical Instrumentation and
Industrial applications. The Analyzer is designed to be able to verify oxygen concentration in
cylinders as well as Analyzer delivery systems. A major advantage is being able to verify
contamination from carbon dioxide in breathing system gases.
The C-Squared Analyzer has digital displays, an internally mounted temperature compensated
oxygen sensor with a 2 year life expectancy and an Infrared carbon dioxide Analyzer that is
factory calibrated for accuracy and only requires occasional verification to assure proper
operation. The power is supplied by rechargeable (NiMH) 12 volt batteries providing an
expected operation life 10 hours of continuous operation and a life of two years before
replacement is required. The charger is also supplied and works off of 110V/60Hz or
240V/50Hz.
The case is environmentally sealed, with the on/off switch inside the case. The Analyzer is
water resistant and sealed to prevent moisture from affecting the internal components. We
use a special water collection device that removes water from gaseous streams in a vapor
state so samples are not exposed to liquid water. Since only water is removed, sample
integrity is assured. The process is continuous, self-regenerating and accomplished with no
moving parts thus providing an intact dry sample for gas analysis. The power switch is a
single purpose switch to either turn the analyzer on or off. The displays are illuminated to
make for easy reading either during the day or night regardless of other light conditions.
The Analyzer is shipped in a high impact case that can be used in a mobile state or attached to
a fixed position.
