ELECTRICAL CONTROL CIRCUIT 24V

Refrigeration Control Circuit 24V

There are several controls wired in series: (D) Compressor Off and On Switch, (C) High
and Low Pressure Refrigeration Cut Out Switches, (E) Thermostat, (F) Compressor
Power Light, and (I) Low Water Float Switch.

(D)

The Compressor Off and On Switch
The main 24V power control.

(C)

Low Pressure Refrigeration Pressure Switch
This switch opens on the low refrigerant pressure and is an automatic
reset switch. It is factory set to open at 15 p.s.i. (40 lbs differential).

(C)

High Pressure Refrigerant Switch
This switch opens on high pressure and is a manual reset switch. It opens
at 425 lbs (70 lbs differential - when manually reset).

(I)

Low Water Float Switch
The low water float relay is used to cut out the refrigeration system and
the water pump. Any time this float is at its low position it will cut out these
systems. You must make sure the water reservoir is filling before this float
system will allow these systems to start again. This switch will open on low
reservoir water.

(E) Adjustable

Thermostat

Will open when the temperature control setting is satisfied.

This unit has an temperature control thermostat that has an adjustable
temperature differential. We have set it at the factory at its maximum
setting. You can if necessary change this adjustment. To make an
adjustment remove the cover on the unit thermostat and on the right side
of this control you will find a finger lever that has some indication marks.

The only reason for an adjustment is in case you find the unit short cycling
do to the operating conditions

(F) Power

Light

Indicates power to refrigeration compressor is on.

Water Pump Controls 24V

Three controls are wired in series:

(H)

Water Pump Off and On Switch

This is the main 24V Power Control.

(J)

High Pressure Switch

It will open when the water pressure reaches the set limits. This switch will

automatically

reset.

(G) Power

Light

It indicates power to water pump is on.
