MAINTENANCE - PART I
1.
Maintenance to mold controller:

Flush out water reservoir as needed. Do not allow this unit to run with dirty supply
water.
þ
All motors have internal overload protection. There are no lubrication joints to any
motor.

When replacing the heating element. MAKE SURE the electrical power supply is turn
off and LOCKED out.
þ
Drain water tank.
þ
Remove the electrical leads to the element.
þ
Remove the four 5/16 - 18 stainless steel cap screw.
þ
Remove element (7.5 KW)
þ
Clean the tank surface plate, to make sure you have a clean surface for the gasket.
þ
If replacing the heater make sure it is stainless steel on the back up plate.
þ
Always use a new gasket.
þ
Install gasket on element and put electrical element in place.
þ
If for some reason you need to replace the chilled water heat exchanger you must
do the following. Make sure the chilled water source is off. Remove all water lines
going through the reservoir top with all these fittings off you can remove the heat
exchanger to repair or replace.
