SIMPLIFIED OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read and thoroughly understand ALL SAFETY Instructions, pages
3 - 7 including Preparing to Charge, DC Connection Precautions,
Unit Location and Qualifying Your Battery BEFORE proceeding
further.
1.
Attach Battery Clips (

) (supplied), to output cordset of charger (

).

Attach output to battery terminals:
RED band = Positive
+
BLACK band = Negative -.
3.
Ambient Temperature Sensor,
ATS-1 (

), comes already installed on
the Temperature Sensor input connector (

). Do not detach.
The
Ambient Temperature Sensor (ATS-1) is mandatory when used
with all Aviation batteries.
4.
Plug AC power cord (

) into a 220 - 240 Vac electrical outlet.

Observe Reversed Polarity
GREEN/RED LED indicator (

):
If lit RED, reverse battery connector attachments on battery.

Observe
Charging - Maintenance/Desulfating GREEN
LED
indicator (

)
:
Solid = charging
Blinking = maintaining battery(s).
Charger will automatically start within 30 seconds or less.

Observe
Battery Connected - Error LED Indicator (

):
Must be lit
GREEN

Be sure Maintaining - Desulfating LED (
1c
)
is BLINKING before leaving
unit for an extended period of time. Otherwise, press & hold the
Maintenance button (

) for 3 seconds.
