If the appliance is to be operated
in a nonĆEuropean country, check
on the rating plate whether the
indicated voltage and current type
correspond to the values of your
mains supply. The rating plate
is situated in the bottom leftĆhand side
of the appliance. The mains
connection cable may be replaced by
an electrician only.

Warning!
Never connect the appliance
to electronic energy saver plugs or
to power inverters which convert the
direct current to 230 V alternating
current (e.g. solar equipment, power
supplies on ships).
Switching on
the appliance

Press the on/off button.
Display 6 indicates the set temperature
in the refrigerator compartment. The
coolĆfresh" and freezer" displays 5
illuminate. When the door is opened,
the interior light comes on.
Selecting
the temperature
The set values can be changed,
see Description of control panel.
The factory has recommended and
set the following temperatures:
Refrigerator compartment +4 °C
CoolĆfresh compartment: at almost 0 °C
Perishable food should not be stored
warmer than +4 °C.
The temperature in the coolĆfresh"
compartment Fig. 1/C has been set
to almost 0 °C at the factory and should
not be changed if at all possible. If frost
forms on the refrigerated food, the
temperature can be increased. (See
ElimiĆ nating minor faults yourself").
Note:
The temperature in the freezer
compartment Fig. 1/A is dependent
on the temperature in the refrigerator
compartment.
A colder temperature in the refrigerator
compartment will also lower the
temperature in the freezer compartment.
