Arranging food in the
appliance
Making use of different
temperature zones
The circulation of air within the refrigerator
section gives rise to different temperature
zones.
S The coldest zones are up against the
rear wall and just above the bottom
shelf.
S The warmest zone is at the very top, in
front of the door.
Keep items such as cheese and butter
in the warmest zone. This will mean that
butter remains easy to spread.
We recommend that food is arranged
as follows:
S In the freezer compartment: Frozen
food, ice cubes, ice cream.
S On the shelves in the refrigerator
compartment: Cakes and pastries,
ready meals, fruit and vegetables which
are sensitive to the cold.
S In the coolĆfresh compartment: Dairy
products, meat and sausage.
S In the highĆhumidity drawer:
Vegetables, lettuce, fruit.
S In the door (from top to bottom): Butter,
cheese, eggs, tubes, small bottles, large
bottles, milk, juice cartons.
