Install two AAA batteries as shown at right.

Operation

The buttons on the IR 801 duplicate the USP 405‘s
front panel controls for normal operation. The USP
responds to commands from the IR 801 as if that
button or knob were pressed or rotated on the
USP. From a
distance of no more than 50 feet, the IR 801 sends
infrared (IR) signals to the USP 405 via the front
panel IR sensor.

The USP 405 must be powered on
and active before operating
the IR 801.

Refer to the USP 405 User’s Manual
for details.

Aspect Ratio Presets

These buttons will recall up to three saved memory presets (sizing and centering information).

Horizontal and Vertical Filters

Use the horizontal filter button to adjust image detail and the vertical filter button to reduce image

flicker while maintaining image sharpness.

For all input formats (except RGB), the Detail image adjustments (+ and -) are
used instead of the horizontal and vertical filters.
