Mounting

The Pressure Trans-
mitter is hung inside
the well or container
where measurement is
desired. It is practical
to mount it in a tube,
fastening it at the top
end of the tube by
means of the fittings
supplied as this
facilitates subsequent
cleaning and
inspection.

Zero, span and response time

The response time is set to minimum at delivery. When
replacing the Pressure Transmitter or when using the MJK
703P for differential level measurement or measurements in
pressure or vacuum tanks, it may be necessary to set the
zero point as well as the span. The setting is carried out by
simulating the zero point and the span. Depending on the
use, it may also be necessary to reset the response time.
If the Pump Controller is used for liquids with a specific
gravity different from that of water (e.g. sludge), the span
will need to be adjusted.
