1 Hard disk bay Houses the computer's hard disk
(secured by a screw).
2 AcerMedia bay
release latch
(for selected models) Unlatches the AcerMedia drive for
removal of drive.
3 AcerMedia bay
(for selected models) Houses an AcerMedia drive module.
4 Battery release latch Unlatches the battery to remove the
battery pack.
5 Battery bay Houses the computer's battery pack.
6 Battery lock Locks the battery in place.
7 Cooling fan Helps keep the computer cool.
Note: Do not cover or obstruct the
opening of the fan.
8 Memory compartment Houses the computer's main memory and
Mini PCI Card.
