Setting up
To set up Acer DW271HL as an independent display, please follow the steps
below:
To install Acer DW271HL on your host system, please follow the steps below:

Connect the video cable (VGA / HDMI).

Make sure both the monitor and computer are switched off.

Connect the video cable to the computer.

Connect the audio cable to the PC to play audio via display speaker.*

Connect external speakers.**
4 Connect the power adaptor and power cord to the monitor, then to a
properly grounded AC outlet.

Turn on the monitor first, then the computer. This sequence is very
important.

If the monitor does not function properly, please refer to the
troubleshooting section to diagnose the problem.
Note: ** Steps 2 and 3 are optional.

Attach the base.

Connect external speakers (optional).

Connect the power adaptor and power cord to the monitor, then to a
properly grounded AC outlet.

Turn the monitor on.

Configure your Wi-Fi settings.
