Changing to Windows 8 or Windows 7
Your computer is configured with two operating systems, Windows 7 and
Windows 8. When you first start your computer, Windows 7 will start. Please
follow the setup process.
Caution: Changing the OS will erase all data on your computer. Perform
a backup before changing.
Changing to Windows 8
To change to Windows 8, open Acer eRecovery Management (Start > All
programs > Acer).
1. Select Restore, then Restore Operating System to Factory Defaults.
2. Select Yes.
3. Select Windows 8, and then click OK and follow the instructions.
Windows will restart, replace Windows 7 with Windows 8, and then start the
Windows 8 setup process.
