Rear Panel
Setting up
The ORB-400 requires haze fluid and bubble fluid to create each effect.
It is recommended to use one of each from the range of qtx haze and bubble fluids for best results.
A chart for recommended fluids is included further along in this document.
 Unscrew the top cap of the haze fluid tank and remove to fill with the selected haze fluid
 Replace the cap and close securely, ensuring the pipe is fed down to the bottom of the bottle so that a
consistent flow of fluid is supplied to the machine
 Connect the remote timer control to the 5-pin DIN connector on the rear panel (3)
 For bubble effects, fill the front fluid bath to a level covering the lowest bubble wands completely
 Connect the supplied wireless remote receiver to the female IEC (1) on the rear panel
 Connect the IEC mains lead supplied to the rear mains inlet (4)
Operation
 Make sure that none of the remote timer control buttons are pressed in at startup
 Switch the mains power on (2)
 If bubble effect is required, this will be available straight away
 Pressing the buttons on the wireless keyfob remote control starts and stops rotation of the wand wheel
 Heat up time for haze effect is usually between 4-5 minutes.
 Haze effect is controlled via the remote timer control – see below for operation
 During prolonged use, periodically check that the fluid level is not empty
 After use, it will be necessary to empty the bubble fluid bath (5) using the rear drain tap before moving
 Switch off when not in use. Unplug from mains if not in use for long periods
Warning: Even if bubble effect is being used without haze effect, there may still be hot surfaces on the
housing as the haze heater will still be activated.
