5. Advance the reverse shade cursor using the ARROW keys to highlight the SET ALARM 1 option. 
6. Press the ENTER key to select the highlighted menu option.
7. The following displays appears with PERCENT as the default alarm value :

11. Press the ENTER key to advance the underline cursor right or press the MENU key to advance the underline cursor left to 
reach to the desired digit of the alarm value.
12. Press the ARROW keys to enter the alarm value. 
13. Repeat steps 11 and 12 until the complete span value has been entered. 
14. Note: If an alarm is set as a PERCENT value and subsequently changed to a PPM value, the PERCENT value is not retained 
and is reset to 00.0. This holds if the alarm was first set as PPM value and then changed to a PERCENT value.
15. Save the alarm value by pressing the ENTER key or abort by pressing the MENU key.  
16. The system returns to the SAMPLING mode and displays:
