2.7 Jumpers
The jumpers on the motherboard allow you to change some feature
settings to suit your customized system configuration.
Before changing any DSW or jumper setting, make sure to read the
jumper descriptions and setting requirements in this section.

1. JumperFree ™ Mode (JEN1)
This jumper enables or disables the JumperFree ™ mode. The default
setting, [1-2], enables JumperFree ™ mode. JumperFree ™ mode permits
processor settings to be made through the BIOS setup (see 4.4 Advanced
Menu).
Motherboard Frequency Settings (DSW Switches)
The motherboard frequency is adjusted through the DSW switches. The
illustration below shows the default position:
